FAQ

If I've already raised a seed round on a vibe-coded prototype, how transparent should I be with investors about the technical state?

Very. Investors expect early code to be rough, but they don't expect surprises during due diligence. Frame it proactively: "We validated fast with AI, now we're investing in the foundation." That signals maturity, not weakness. Hiding tech debt only makes the conversation harder later.

How do I evaluate whether a dev team is actually improving my vibe-coded prototype or just rebuilding it from scratch?

Ask what they're keeping and why. A good partner will map which parts are structurally sound and which need replacing. If the answer is "we're starting over" with no prior assessment phase, that's a red flag: your prototype has signal worth preserving.

Are there specific AI coding tools that produce more production-ready output than others?

Tools vary in quality, but none consistently produce production-ready code without review. Cursor and GitHub Copilot tend to integrate better into real development workflows. The tool matters less than the process around it: testing, reviewing, and tracking what's generated.
